The Haven Social is nestled along the historic borders of PA, DE, & MD known as "The Wedge".

Once considered a "no-man's land", this highly disputed area of land became a sanctuary for illegal bootlegging and gambling operations dating back to the 1700's. Giving nod to the original roots of the building, The Haven is a revitalization to the previous Hoffman's Haven.

 

Originally using the location as a concept testing space for Great Big Jerk, a takeout BBQ restaurant opened during the pandemic and now relocated to Wilmington, Chef Tim Bolt and Mary Schleuter now embark on their original vision to make "The Wedge" the destination for locally crafted food and beverage to be enjoyed in a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere.
